Call for Speakers

    UAE IAA Conferences, Webinars, CAE Majlis, Member's meetings & Sub-Groups

    The UAE IAA invites experienced thought leaders and industry professionals to share their expertise at our conferences, webinars, CAE Majlis, and Internal Audit Sub-group sessions. If you are passionate about advancing the internal audit profession and providing valuable insights, we encourage you to submit a proposal.

    Submission Guidelines

    Please complete all required fields in the submission form, as this will help the UAE IAA Speaker Committee in the selection process. Upon submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation. If you need assistance, please contact speakers@uaeiaa.org.

    Evaluation Criteria

    Proposals will be assessed based on the following:

    • Proven speaking experienceWe encourage you to include past speaker evaluations, references, or relevant experience.
    • Current and relevant contentPresentations should include up-to-date data, case studies, and industry best practices.
    • Practical and actionable insightsSessions should provide attendees with real-world strategies, tools, and takeaways for implementation in their practice.
    • Innovative approachesShare leading practices, emerging trends, and unique insights relevant to internal audit, risk management, fraud prevention, and governance.
    • Engagement and interactivitySessions that include Q&A, polling, case studies, and audience participation are highly encouraged.
    • No sales pitchesProposals should focus on knowledge sharing rather than promoting specific products or services.
    • Hybrid relevancePriority is given to presentations that cater to a diverse, international audience and are suitable for both in-person and virtual formats.
    Speaker Policy
    • Submissions must align with the session design. A solo presentation may not be changed to include a co-presenter after submission.
    • Additional weight may be given to new speakers who have not presented at a UAE IAA event in the same calendar year.
    • Speaker Benefits: The primary speaker will receive a complimentary full registration for the event.
    • Selected speakers must participate in a Speaker Orientation call and adhere to the defined submission timelines.
    • Presentation materials, including PowerPoint decks, must be submitted 30 days prior to the event and must follow the UAE IAA branded template.
    • Missing deadlines for presentation submission may result in disqualification from future UAE IAA speaking opportunities.

    By submitting this form, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    • Your session must align with UAE IAA's educational objectives and must not be a sales pitch.
    • You will provide your final presentation and materials 30 days prior to the event using the UAE IAA branded template.
    • Selected speakers are required to attend a Speaker Orientation call before the event.
    • If selected, the primary speaker will receive complimentary full registration for the event.
    • Missing deadlines for submission may result in disqualification from future UAE IAA speaking opportunities.
    • Speaking at the UAE IAA Events is a volunteer opportunity. Compensation for speaking fees and travel is not provided unless otherwise indicated. The primary speaker will receive a complimentary, non-transferable, full registration for the UAE IAA Events. All speakers must be able to travel to the UAE to present their session.
    • Speaking at the Audit, Anti-Fraud, and IT Congress is a volunteer opportunity. Compensation for speaking fees and travel is not provided unless otherwise indicated. The primary speaker will receive a complimentary, non-transferable, full registration for the Audit, Anti-Fraud, and IT Congress. All speakers must be able to travel to the UAE to present their session.
