Course Description
In the 21st century, expectations for internal auditors are rising. No longer can internal audit deliver optimum and value by focusing on value protection.
Professionals must be equipped to not only protect value, but to contribute to enterprise value creation. They must be “agents of change” – catalysts for transformation that not only protects but also creates value. This course will explore the imperative for value creation, and examine the shared characteristics of internal audit agents of change. Students will be able to assess their own competencies and identify effective strategies to become valued agents of change in the organizations they serve.
